What is the Cahoots Store?
Glad you asked. Our store is here to support the artists featured as much as the magazine powering the site. As such, the Cahoots Store functions as a collective with individual vendors deciding what to sell, for how much, and what shipping options they can provide.
How do I pay?
At the moment, the Cahoots Store accepts PayPal, cheques and money orders. We anticipate the capacity to accept Visa and Master Card later soon.
Why does your web address change once I add an item to your shopping cart?
Our store is powered by a shopping cart host called CanadaCart. During the checkout process, you will be interacting with pages hosted on their secure web pages. Please visit the CanadaCart web site for more information on their secure checkout service.
What type of shipping do you offer?
As your order is shipped directly from each vendor, shipping costs and options differ depending on the vendor’s choice. At this time, each item in the store has a fixed shipping cost provided by the vendor. As the store continues to develop and grow, we hope to offer more flexible shipping options to accommodate the variety of needs and preferences we know you’re looking for.
Where are you located?
Cahoots Magazine is based in Saskatoon, but our vendors are located from coast to coast.
What currency are your prices?
Since we’re Canadian owned and operated, all our prices are listed in Canadian dollars. We recommend xe.com as a currency conversion tool, should you need it.
If you don’t handle shipping, how can I confirm that my item has been sent?
Upon processing payment, we forward your order to the appropriate vendor(s) who will then follow up with you to confirm that they have indeed received the order.
How do I know my personal info and credit card number is safe?
Our store is powered by a secure CanadaCart shopping cart. As we process all payments, your financial information stays with Cahoots alone and we keep your personal information confidential. Only the vendor(s) required to fill your order will receive your name and address.
Can I cancel an order or get my money back if I’m not happy? Should you need to cancel an order or return an item, we will do our best to facilitate communication with the vendor. Please be aware that since the Cahoots Store functions as a collective, order processing is not instantaneous and customer service issues may take some time to resolve. Whatever your concern, contact us right away and we will do our best to assist you.
I’m outside Canada . What kind of customs or fees will I be charged?
Unfortunately, we have no control over any fees you may incur in other countries. We are happy to put you in touch with relevant vendors if you have questions about what kind of shipping methods will be used for your purchase.
